My problem actually isn't at the boot level. Check the pics on the second page for more detail.

Is what resolved? Unless he got a bad set of headers, this is more than likely a issue with the OP's car and NOT the headers.

Long ago. Headers were actually revised for the ZL1 after this.

Noticed this issue with mine on my 2014 1le. It's not affecting steering or anything. Just worried about melting the boot.

Take the boot off. Early camaro's like mine don't even have them.
