Just turned 56. Told my husband I don't want to wait 'till I'm pushing in the clutch with a cane.... So last March he got tired of my heavy sighs every time a Camaro drove by, relented, and now the '12 2SS Imperial Blue Metallic w/Hurst short throw is in the garage. Mid-life crisis? Who cares? Paid cash. One caveat, though..... Have had two nails and a razor blade in the rear tires in the past 2+months. Blade took the tire down to the rims. What's the deal? Bad luck? Vandals? Having lots of fun with the car until this started happening, now I'm afraid to get far from home. No one in Austin stocks the Pirelli's, either, so if the tire can't be fixed, I'm without a car for awhile. Been driving for 40 years, this is the first time I've had this happen. Not a happy camper.....
