thanks a bunch, Krajkerjac.
So you installed almost 2 weeks ago. Mine have been in about 1 yr and 6000mi. The Pfadt were labeled as 1.25" drop all around, but I am lower now than even your fresh 1.4" all around drop. If that is due to settling, and will potentially happen to you, then you are gonna be slammed in the front. BMR guys...does everyone agree that there is some settling involved with all springs? Don't get me wrong...I LOVE the look of a lowered Camaro..L-O-V-E...but I can't go lower...the ride, the roads, my lift arms, the front splitter...I am totally at the limit.

I think there is defintely settling with the springs but in my opinion some settle more than others. I had bmr 1.4/1.2 springs installed and my first reaction was I did not go low enough, after a month or two the fronts dropped pretty drastically and the rears seemed to drop slightly which honestly gave me the exact look I was going for.

I'm gonna hold off on lowering my car until I have a better feel for the aftermarket springs might adversely affect weight transfer in my car. I like to drag race on a frequent basis.

I'll have to see what happens. As you stated, only a few weeks old...

richard200593, if you are still running stock wheels and tires, would you mind putting a yard stick to the fenders like I did and see what you have settled down to over time?

Yes, in many cases, there is some "settling" involved after installing lowering springs. Especially, if the bushings are not re-timed after the spring installation. Not to worry, the end result should be right around the stated drop of the springs.

Thanks, Keith. I was just wanting to get into the OP's thread the overall drop others have experienced AFTER the settling occurs. I retimed all my bushings to the best of mine and again with the alignment shop's ability. I still think I'm getting lower, just luckily it's happening evenly...dead-nuts even side to side with the Pfadt (now Apex) spring set.
