You have to remember this is Chinese. They probably did not know what Torque was so they said no. I messaged the seller and let him know last night. You will be good to go as long as there is no defect with the gadget. You can google elm327 and torque to see a lot of people running it. there are also some videos on youtube.

If you read up on O2 sensor voltage, you can monitor AFR via voltage (.88 - .91 is good?). Not nearly as accurate as a wideband but... I made a pid for 0114 being (A/200)*1000 wich would output millivolts... something to keep an eye on I gues...

Just checking in to make sure everyone is having success with these which ones on ebay can be ordered for under $30 in the US that will work with Torque. Planning to install an Android stereo to get this info right over the radio.

cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

You probably need Android 2.2 or later if you don't have it. I believe that added the type of bluetooth accessory support necessary for game controllers...This probably falls under that....IIRC

I just got an ELM27 and tried it out with Torque on my Android tablet. It's a good application and everything works, but, I prefer my slate PC to Android.
I installed TouchScan from OBD Software on the slate and have to say it is a great application. I typically wouldn't consider paying for something like this when there are other options available but so far this is THE one.
I'm on a 2 week trial right now so if anyone knows of a better one out there please share but I have a feeling there will be shelling out of cash on TouchScan! .

I have mine paired with my Droid RAZR and My Xoom, works great on both. I can use either as a HUD. with Torque you can re-size the gauges as well as create your own layout. I like the auto clear feature.
