had the same trouble last year spun #1 rod and main 27k miles i ended up pricing rebuilds, stroker, crate. i guess it all depends on whats in store for the car. i personally knew i was going to keep modding. if you are not going to do any more to it and you were content with your build then gm crate $4500 cheapest way out. i ended going with the lingenfelter 417 high compression short block. when i started pricing it out i couldn't buy the parts in that engine for what they were selling it for assembled. by the time you have the block checked cleaned machined line bored buy a rotating asm, bearings and rings it adds up fast. it wasnt that much more to do a stroker. look into it callies dragon slayer,je pistons, oliver rods, coated bearings all the goodies
