IMO Leave the purple shades to Dodge, they did "Plum Crazy" in 1969. But everything recycles (bell bottoms, tie-dye) but that said, if that's your cup of tea go for it.

no it's not from the factory the one u saw was probably was repainted cuz he owner wanted it to be.
