I was in the grocery store yesterday and the guy in front of me bought one pack of cigarettes (Marlboro Box) and it cost him $8.50. I didn't believe it. Some smokers must go through a carton a week- $85.00.
THATS NUTS !!!

Congrats, Randy!!!

I smoked for a LONG time too. I quit smoking and began to dip...which killed my teeth.

But, stopping smoking was tough. But, it was one of those things where you either do it and stick to it or you don't.

I quit years ago and on occasion would have the dream where I was smoking. I'd wake up and man...talk about disappointed in myself. I hated it.

Same thing with dipping.

It was hard to do mentally, but was easily done, if you know what I mean.

You just don't do it.

congrats again!

Cool. That's awesome. It's tough at times and no big deal at times too. I have a hard time on bowling night. (last nite) OMG...... All my team-mates smoke. Ughhh................

Damn. I didn't know. I haven't had that dream yet this time around. But It's much harder as far as wanting a smoke this time.

If you don't inhale them then don't worry about it.

Not true...I read that you can get lip or tongue cancer from having a cigar, even if it's not lit, and you just have it resting in your mouth....

Who knows??...just some friendly advice...

Yeah...just having the tobacco in your mouth from a cigar (same as dipping) can get ya.

I just said heck with it all. Cost too much anyway.

Dreamed I was using one of those electronic cigarettes. It was just as enjoyable as a regular one. Lots of smoke and in the dream, I learned that it was just as safe as breathing regular air.

Guess that's why they say you're dreaming. lol
