Personally, I'm waiting for the 1LE Spark, the Ford Fiesta fighter.

Yet they push the C7 GS as a seperate model, which basically consists of a selection of Z06 parts and new color / graphic combos

There are actually 1LE logos painted on the brake calipers of the 17 SS 1LE, surprisingly enough

I agree that they should've named the V6 version something else. Yeah with the 5th Gen, everyone knows what the 1LE is. Now in the 6th Gen, kinda diluted.
That being said, if someone wants and buys the V6 1LE, more power to them. How can we fault those guys for GM giving them something that fits their taste. 1LE name or not, it beats the Mustang GT on the track and was nipping at the Hellcat's heels.

Let's not throw "shade" at 1LE V6 drivers.

Re
I had a 2010 that I painted the brakes red, powder coated the factory wheels black, put dual tip exhaust on, and it ended up looking very similar to the 1LE. This was before the 1LE was released. When GM released the 1LE and I saw those $3500 ZL1 wheels/tires with red brakes and the option of NPP I was already sold. The other long list of features have been awesome to have and I see as a perk. Plus, the 1LE is a rare car. At least once a week I run into someone who knows the SS and ZL1 but has no idea what a 1LE is.
That being said, not really happy about the V6 1LE. Feel like that kind of tarnishes the 1LE's reputation for all the V8 owners But I bought mine used so blame someone else! Hah Quote:

If there was a like button here I'd have checked it on this comment.

I will give em nothing but respect. 1LE is a designation that drives respect, V6 destroyed V8 mustangs that says it all. The V8 1LE is punching way above as well and that is what 1LEs are meant to do. Give folks who demand more track focused performance from base camaros the option, at prices that are a steal. All us 1LE owners know what I mean. Dont hate guys, embrace the 1LE getting the attention it deserves. Incredible package and all us car guys should be very happy about it.

I plan on buying a LT 1 LE in the spring when Krypton Green is available to order. I would like to get the SS 1LE but with both my kids in college it's not to be. Yes I know I could find a 13 - 15 1LE for the same money, even less maybe but I'm more into car shows than tracking my cars and this car will be a great starting point for me to mod. I can't wait to order...so be respectful to others decisions and reasons for the Camaro they drive.

I owned a 2011 V6 RS before I got my 1LE and that car ran great. I actually miss that car and should have kept it along with my 1LE. I really couldn't tell the difference between the automatic V8 and the V6 when I test drove both before I chose the V6. I'm sure there is a difference but the 3.6L Cadillac engine ran like a top.

I see at least someone else is using their head, I must have signed on to the wrong board. As the former owner/racer of a 91 ILe I was quite perplexed at most of the comments on this thread. In my old age I am of the opinion that lighter is better! See ya!!!!
