silver boring?

Silver looks clean but the down side is it a common color on the roads the Camaro doesnt stand out in this color. Looks good though.

I bed to differ.......

I have got more looks, gaulks, drools and wows in the first two weeks of owning my SIM than I did in the 10+ years with my lowered Impala SS and my lowered on dubs Caddy Fleetwood.

You get the looks because its a camaro not because its silver. I think when he says the silver doesn't stand out he means unless you are right on it you won't see it coming from a distance as camaro but just another silver car.

Not the point.....

From a distance a black car is a black car, a maroon car is a maroon car and a blue car is a blue car. None of those colors "stand out" from a distance. Pink or purple or a Non-common color will.

But of course they are looking because it's a Camaro.

I was an AZ State Trooper for 21 yrs - not once did I stop a car because of it's color (especially at night when you can't tell), nor do I know of a single trooper who did. It is a silly "urban myth."

I like the silver that is on the Challenger and several other cars, but for some reason the silver on the Camaro makes it look like a bare metal car. The only way I think it doesn't look boring is that it has to have stripes. Still, all Camaros are awesome.
BTW.... the most popular colors for sports cars are white, red, and black!

I think SIM looks stunning. You can see all body lines of the car the best IMO with this color.

Here is my "Boring" SIM 2SS LS-3. My wife nicknamed her is "Sinister".
She was built on Halloween Day.

These were taken before I added custom flat black Hockey Stick stripes to retro my SILVER 1969 SS 396 L-78.

Now She really looks "BAD ASS" I just don't have current pics.

Pictures just don't do SIM justice. This color is absolutely "Jaw Drooping" for most people in direct sunlight.

I think black is the best color you can get on a car. That said, at the end of the day, you're the one driving your camaro around. If YOU like silver, you should be happy. Who cares what others think?

Silver is not boring. None of the colors are. It needs some stripes to really complete it though I think.

I posted this earlier I think in rally yellow thread, I have been driving for 40 years in all types and colors of cars.. I have been pulled over by the Police 4 times in my 40 years... 2 times in a Dark green Vega station wagon, Once in a 76 Dark Blue Malibu that had a 115HP 305 V8 and wouldn't go over 80-MPH downhill with a tailwind. and the last time was in a 96 Dark Green Camaro Convertible V6 that I was test driving and the reason I was pulled over was the salesman put the tag in the windshield and not on the back of the car like they were supposed to,,,
I Have had Bright red cars, Silver Cars, Brown Cars Bright Green Cars, Hugger orange cars and bright blue.. none of the bright colors ever got me pulled over.. That myth is BUSTED!

Personally i love the color silver. It shows the shapes and lines of cars, i usually dont like black cars at all, if its black for me it has to have something to complete it like silver stripes or something.
