The verdict after tracking: I'm springing for the Recaros if the price is not in the stratosphere. The stockers just don't keep me planted.

I'd be surprised if they didn't bolt right into the 2013, and the harness would be easy for Recaro to match the factory connector. Good question though, I'll check before purchasing.

Planning to order a 1SS soon. Didn't think I absolutely NEEDED it to be a 1LE. Then I saw one in person (2013 model). Now I absolutely DO need it to be a 1LE.

You don't need these in the camaro, believe it or not. Go to wikipedia and set your mirrors as explained there. I have had my wife go all around my car at various distances and not once did she get into a "blindspot" where I couldn't see her at least on one mirror out of the three (side and rear view). No, I know all about what the 1LE consists of and is capable of. If you've ever been to the metro Detroit area (the east side) you know there are no elevation changes and almost no twisties. The 1LE is WAY overkill for the type of driving I will normally do, but it doesn't stop me from wanting one. .......Bad.
