Admittedly I don't have the specifics but it seems there have been several that have put down between 425-435 (including American Muscle) at the tire. If these things are making 460 with a 15% loss they should be much closer to 400 at the tire shouldn't they?

Chassis dynos aren’t that accurate and the 15% is a guess. So, people are taking an innaccurate number and adjusting it based on a guess to invalidate a number set by the SAE. I know which horsepower rating I would think is most likely to be correct.

Correct assumption, the 2018 Gt easily and consistently dyno at 420 rear wheel horsepower which is conservatively 480 at the flywheel. That's why the cars are trapping 117 to 119 mph. It looks like they tweaked/modified the bullitt even more with a advertised rating of 475 horse. Now that car is actually closer to 500 horse.

We live in a great time for performance cars. Lots of choices. I want them all. Cars today handle, stop, and accelerate a better than the "muscle car era" I lived thru. I've often thought to get another muscle car from the old days...nah! These new cars are just too much fun and low maintenance. No spark plug, points, cap, rotor changes every 10,000 miles, sooner if you wanted full performance. You can go around a corner at near 1g where an old muscle car would have spun off the road.
