I'll be there. Looking forward to meeting you all before the fest. Being just over an hour away my intentions are to try and cruise with you all 3 or 4 times a year.

I'm going to try to talk my parents (retired Army) in following me up if they can. They drive a 2010 IOM Camaro that is begging for them to put some miles on it.

If tomorrow is going to be anything like today, it's going to be a beautiful day for a drive up to Columbus and a meet at sonic. Tell your parents that we would love to see them and their IOM as well. Tell your dad that my Hubby is retiring from the Army (with over 30 years) in just a few months and could use some advice on how to manage his time. Also tell him that he might want to stop and spend some time at the new Infantry Museum on Benning, something to wet his taste buds for his next full day visit (can't do the museum in one day).

See you tomorrow.

I Have already asked a few times, maybe you could copy the thread, paste it into a PM and send it off to Tran for me. I'm being patient because I figure that everyone is very busy with Camar5Fest right now. But any extra support would be appreciated.

Thanks for voting

p.s. Hope to meet you and Bonnie this weekend and can't wait to see Bonnie in her track outfit too, and Cyn in her boots! I would have done it, 10 years ago. I will have hubby get a picture of our car and all the girls, he will love it. He's very handsome and such a flirt too.

What a beautiful and a perfect day to have our meet at Sonic. Both of our new members come today, Jason and Denise, and it was so nice to meet them both.

Jason, when is the next Civil War Re-enactment in Americus? Greg and I haven't been down to one since the kids were little and would like to go to one again. We could drive the Camaro down and meet up with you and your parents and their IOM as well .

Denise, I am really digging the Imperial Blue Metallic and the name you have chosen, it's perfect for your Camaro!

*We talked of a cruise to Warm Springs in May, with lunch at the Bulluch House (hit up the antique mall maybe??) then cruise to Pine Mountain and Callaway Gardens (Country Store). Lots of picture ops along the way.

*T-Shirts - We've got a plan: Paul will do the photography and he will use Joe's black 1969 SS and Dan's Black 2010 SS/RS. More to come...

*There was also some discussion about hitting the 1/8 mile track in Phenix City on a Friday Night to run our Camaro's then progress up to the 1/4 mile track in Reynolds later in the summer. Sounds like a plan to me, we can probably all use some track time to get used to the raw power and speed of these wonderful cars we have on a safe and "legal" manor. Plus, for those of us who have automatic transmissions and have the paddle shifts on the wheel (like me), we could use some time to figure out how to work those safely.

*Looks like about 1/2 of our group is heading down to Valdosta/Adel next weekend to enjoy Camaro5Fest, but we are all leaving different days & times. So everyone please be safe driving and watch your speed. I am sure that every law enforcement agency in Georgia is aware of what's going on next weekend and will be looking specifically for Camaro's to be going over the speed limit.

Let's try hook up for breakfast or lunch one day during the weekend and share some stories. If you haven't got my cell#, PM me and I'll give it it you. Greg and I will be at the Host hotel, Thurday, Friday & Saturday night, if you need to track us down.

P.S... It finally happened, we are OFFICIAL!!!

Enjoy your week, be safe and we'll see you next weekend!
