Yeah I am going to wait. If my cars sits for a while longer then I am getting screwedm paying for insurance, payments, etc. on a car I wouldn't even have. Not to mention God forbid something happened to the car in transit, it would technically be my car. I will see how things go in the next few days/week or so.

A guy here walked into a dealership who happened to have a camaro that just rolled off the truck in my state todsy and bought it.

Yeah saw that...saw on my dealers website today they have in transit build with a 115636 VIN! That is crazy, means it was built before any of the sold orders.

Chevy only builds sold orders. I know, you meant before the first "retail" sold order. These days there is no difference, but given technological advances I believe GM could distinguish between a bona fide retail order and a strawman order. But that would take a leap of faith by GM and an abiding trust the various dealers would not game the process.

Oh well, I can have moments of delusion.

If it helps dealer got my invoice on Friday (or thats when he said he got it) so I am betting asimpleguy and my car are on the same train since invoice around same time and live close.

Yeah I found out I got excited for nothing. Last Friday I took care of all the financing and yesterday my status updated to 6000. This morning the dealer said they don't have the car yet and the only reason why the order status says reported as delivered is bc the financing was accepted by GM. The computer automatically updates to delivered after that I guess...

OK I was about to get real mad if someone else in the area got there's and mine is no where to be seen. I bet ours are on the same traim should be here any day.
