Yes I can see the heat coming out of the vents. I don't think the tray would work very well if it was backed up because of the exits for the water. But yes the tray sets up in each vent area but the air still travels through fine. On the 2014 the tray fastens in with push pins so it can be removed for cleaning and for more flow for when you have it at the track. Then when your done you just pop it back in.

Im going to mount it just like everyone else did...I have a 10 SS as well...

Are you going to use the rain tray? Be sure and put some pics up of your install when your done.

Yep, im using the stock drip tray as well...I just hope its not going to touch the blower...

It doesn't look like Low RS tray goes too far past the hood liner. I think it will clear.....

On page 4 "Deftones" put a link up for the SLP option that is more Low Profile. It is more expensive of course but a option.

You may have to go with the SLP part that is made to work with the blower. If you do pm me and let me know what you want for the one you bought, I may take it to put on another car here.

Just got mine in the mail. I want to paint it to match my car, and am going to prep it myself. I was just going to lighly sand it then hit it with some adhesion spray. Is that good enough?
