I drove mine the past two winters since it was my only car. It is in GA at my parents now since I am deployed, but I bought a 2001 Chevy Impala as my winter/daily/"beater" in great shape; better than most people's daily cars lol.

My car handles rain quite nicely.

What is this "snow" you speak of? Is it some kind of weather phenomena?

We had some powdery white stuff falling a number of years ago. Could that be it?

This happened last year in Toronto, took me almost an hour to dig him out of the snow and drive slowly back home, a normally 90 mins drive was turned into a 4 hour commute.
But this bad boy did just fine

These cars are heavy, and close to a 50%/50 weight distribution.

You have got weight back there as well. The rear of these cars weighs more than the weight of the front end of a subcompact Front Wheel Drive car, so in essence, with narrow snow tires, these cars will indeed perform well in the snow, although ground clearance will be a limiting factor.

Boy do these cars look dorky though with narrow snow tires on, lol!

Thankfully, I have a dedicated 4WD beater.

Im just fortunate we don't have to deal with snow in NC as much as the northern states... I'd be miserable. When we do get it down here its usually a couple days the whole winter. People down here definitely cannot drive in the snow. The main problem we have is when the snow melts then freezes again overnight.

any day of the week, those tires are amazing. One month on dry pavement will burn them up though, change back to your summers as soon as possible.

I guess you gotta give up your man card if you won't drive your Camaro in the snow. Personally I require a truck too so I'll just drive it in bad weather, it's gonna be there no matter what, may as well use the proper tool for the job.

Bragging about having a pristine Camaro in my garage? Not hardly as I hate it when people talk about me and everything I own and worked for, Let's just say the Camaro is about half the value of the sum of the rest of the stuff in the garage. Bragging is a good way to be a victim of a home invasion robbery.

I won't even comment when somebody in a POS says "at least mine is paid for" I have no time for idiots out in public.

Don't forget also this time of year on the c5 forums that most of the idiots come out and troll cause they have nothing better to do. Look at the holiday shoppers, enough said.
