Yea but I was just asking because she stated she was going to do it with no tune. To be 100% honest, I have a trifecta tune (not in the car but on my laptop) but I'd still go with the stock tune over a trifecta nitrous tune if I did nitrous.

Just because its a V6 doesn't mean you can't have fun.

And I'm just saying that almost every car on the road can keep up with or beat a stock V6. Wasn't it said that like the Camry was faster or something? Yeah, not a performance vehicle when that happens.
Hope that 0-60 in 11-12 seconds is sarcasm. I can do much better than that in my cruze Eco

I'd like to some day. I can't afford the tires. My buddy is a HPDE instructor and has offered to take me out a few times, just never have.

I just didn't buy this car for performance. If I was looking for that, I would have certainly looked elsewhere, or dropped down to a base V8 for the same price. I felt the Camaro gave me the best combo of looks, comfort, and fun. Perfectly happy with the vehicle for my wants, aside from the build quality.

Oh, yep. I would go all stock over trifecta with nitrous. Lol. I'm really interested in the LMR trifecta that jvibe is talking about. Might be up for that, if it turns out good for $250, if we make it out to fest.

But it is what it is. Some like to modify to make it their own, cosmetically and/or performance. No need to undermine those that do race with the v6.
Who was I undermining? I thought I was expressing my opinion.

Awfully sensitive in here. Noted.

That is a good explanation. To be honest I was attracted to the Camaro for its looks and have a V6 because my dad couldn't justify a 15 year old with a V8. And don't get me wrong I am very thankful for what I have and don't Take it for granted. My V6 is basically my dream car

Autocross is a lot different from HPDE. I personally would rather do HPDE over autocross since it's on an actual track but as you said, it's easily the form of racing that takes the most toll on the car. It takes a toll on your tires and brakes. But autocross is similar to drag racing the sense that you can just show up and compete without putting a toll on to many things. I personally don't see the appeal with autocross since it's just a bunch of cones on a parking lot but having never tried it before, I can't comment on it from experience. There's a local event at least once a month here that I'm hoping to try out and hopefully be proven wrong. If not, it'd be nice to see my aftermarket suspension be put to use at least once

me too. Especially since it's a dyno tune and it's exactly what I've wanted from the very beginning. And it's only 2 hours away. I just want to see what gains there are from it really.

I still puff out my chest walking up to the car in the parking lot after four years. That speaks volumes for the attachment the car has fostered.

If you couldn't have the Camaro what was your next choice?

There is a difference between expressing your opinion and being a jerk.

You don't see how hurtful your comments are to someone installing nitrous on their car. It is like you are taking hits at my goals and dreams for my car.

So you see absolutely nothing wrong in your response, in a thread full of v6 owners, many who race their car, when you say you don't race your car because you have a v6? I could understand had you posted what you did after the fact, about it being enough for you, etc. but come on. Dont act dumb. You can pretend you weren't trying to troll all you want. And call me sensitive. Whatever floats your boat.
