Keeping it low
2010 2SS/RS LS3 with 14,500 miles, bought it used and I have only put 90 miles on it, only take it out on weekends when its nice. Plan on giving it to my son when I think hes ready

Enjoy life today for nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. Cars can be rebuilt or replaced...you on the other hand may not be. Oh one other thing to those saving the car for the kid when he gets older. Hell drive it and you two enjoy it now. A kid when he gets his first car or truck could care less if it has 4,000 or 140,000 miles on it. Plus if you wear it out before he gets old enough to drive, you can rebuild it together. A great bonding experience along with they will appreciate the car much more knowing all the work they have helped do on it.

I purchased mine in Nov of 2009. 1LT RS Black on Black. She just spun 45500 the other day. Been a great car and a daily driver with a few medium range trips included. I am about to trade her in for a 2014 2SS (LE1 if I can swing it).

12 with 2.5k just don't have the time to waste gas with point a to b driving. It's a weekend car for me to enjoy on trips other than running to a store and back.
