Thanks for the great information about the grille. I received mine today and I have a question about painting. How far in towards the horizontal bars did you paint? Did you mask off each bar to paint? I'm not sure, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I painted mine exactly where the factory painted the metallic grey, if you look closely you will see the difference.
Welcome to Camaro5 by the way! I see this was your first post. |

I painted mine and the fog light surrounds. Then put '69 emblems all around. Retro!

Any on a Rally Yellow car?
Has anyone installed one on a rally Yellow Camaro? I would like to see both Painted and unpainted, even though I have already ordered a painted one...

That grill looks great. I just ordered mine a few minutes ago. Now I need to know where a person can buy the SS for the center of the grill??? I'd like to know where to get the Camaro script for the fender and the SS below it.
Thanks in advance. |

Also try DRCLASSIC.COM, that's where I bought mine. They specialize in camaros. If anyone lives in the Chicagoland area, I highly recommend Countryside Customs in Warrenville.630-393-6665. They did all the painting and work on my car.

Got mine installed today! Not too bad for time, took a couple of hours is all. The hardest part for me was removing the old grill once the fascia was removed. About 20 to 30 minutes to put it all back together. No more huge egg crate on the front!

Yea, removing the stock insert was a pain in the ass. Although gotta love the new look. Here's pictures of my install. I'm not sure if I'm going with the clean look or the Bowtie and SS.

I think I would mover the bowtie down one slot, and the SS over to the right a little and down one slot...
Otherwise it looks great !
