Difference between 91 & 93 oct tune

What is the HP and Torque of a tune using 91 Vs 93 Oct?

It varies with combination but typically about 10 hp per octane point.

93 octane tune using 91 octane (dyno tune on car ) like when I am out of my area and they do not offer 93 can I use 91 or add the octane boost in a can ?

Will I have to do the fuse pull thing after gong back to 93.

Probably varies depending on who tuned it.

You CAN run 91 octane gas on a 93 octane tune BUT you are risking damage if you push the pedal down much at all. It will take at least two 93 octane gas tank refills to get all the 91 octane gas out of the system.

I would think mixing 91 and 93 together in 1/2 prorations would give 92? Is the engine that critical that a difference could be noticed?

Depends how close to the edge your tune is.

If you tune for 91, you give up a few HP on the table but have an extra margin of safety. If you tune for 93 and put 91 in the tank, you can break your pistons top ring land off (or worse) during a hard run. Do a search here and see the pix for yourself. It ain't pretty.
