buying z/28 wheels

Where is the best place to purchase Z/28 wheels 19x11 front 19x11.5 rear. I know they are for sale out there and it seems pricing is all over the board. I'm just trying to find out who is selling them the cheapest. Used or new...

I had a deal on a used set that fell through and now I am sitting on some tires but have no wheels to put them on...

Here's your thread... I'm unaware that you can buy "real' Z/28 wheels unless an owner takes them off and sells.

I put a set on order from GMPartsShop and they're supposed to ship today. It was $2499 shipped. GMPartsDirect and GMPartsCenter.net said they don't sell them due to restrictions. I'll update if my wheels indeed get shipped. FYI, GMPartsShop asked for core charge, but they covered it by discounting the shipping and keeping it at $2499 when I told them there are many sites that sell for less than $2520, including the core charge (like GMPartsOutlet.net at $2517.6).

I'd never buy knock offs. Definitely not for track use, but I'd understand if people wanted to use them at the street (though I'd personally not do that, either).

Agree... especially for road track duty.

However, as I said, I don't think you're just going to be able to buy these wheels from GM (restricted part) and not many Z/28 owners are going to part with them.

They are available OEM. I found one site that had one rear and two front wheels, they were not cheap but when I called they said they had no idea how long it would be get the other rear wheel. I'll try to find them again but they are definitely available regardless of the parts restriction.

Actually had it bookmarked.. not too expensive after all.

Good luck with the rest though, unless they finally got them all in stock.

They are trying to 'resolve' the issue. I'll call them later today and ask if there is any update.
