Exclamation TRIFECTA TUNER UNDER $400..?

So im new to this forum. I been looking for a tuner for my V6 camaro but I see there is no legit tuners for it other than Trifecta which you have to return when you upload it to your car and Hypertech which only adds 4HP while Trifecta states they add +20 HP. I found this website http://www.rawamericanmuscle.com/pro...e/Default.aspx
that sells Trifecta tuning for under 400 dlls.
what do you all think of this? you think I should buy it?
I also plan on putting my 3.73 gears i bought and some rims im currently thinking of getting. My car is completely stock other than a BBK cold air intake.

I found a trifecta tuner in garland, tx. Cost me $200. I think you should look around for another tuner. Check the trifecta website they may have one closer to el paso.

you can buy Trifecta's cable outright(and have to use a laptop with it)... I have one

Vince is a good dude, and his tunes are no gimmick, he is a very good tuner

Yeah you will notice the difference and the ghost cam with the tune makes it sound oh so sweet.

Hi CK,
I got the tune from Trifecta on the handheld just like the one you're looking at. I've also already got the 3.73 gears and the usual assortment of other mods.
I Love it! It has worked great for me. The tune greatly improves response thru the midrange and has a much better top end end rush-esp with the lower gears- 3rd gear is a canyon carving moderate to high speed thrill ride (watch those RPM though, I think Vince must have done away with my rev limter. Saw at > 7K the other day and still pulling hard!)

However you must have the majority of your mods in place before you get the tune. The handheld tune is a one time deal so if you wait to change your gears, you have to order another tune to correct your speedo (it wil be 12.5% off with 3.73's) Also with the handheld option, there is no way to return your tune to stock for service at the dealer and you risk a voided warranty.

Trifecta's tune claims a 13hp gain on top from a stock car, but most people with mods have seen about 6hp. Both Trifecta and Hypertech show impressive gains at low to mid RPM, where we all usually drive.

Hypertech wasn't available when I got mine, but with the power gains and versatility it offers: change your tune as you make your changes, speedo correction for gears or rim size changes, and return to stock at the press of a button- I would have given it strong consideration.

When i put my gears on, i want to get the trifecta tuner. question is i also want to get twentys(rims) on it later. how will that work? Will i more tan likley have to get the tuner again right?

im going to be racing a 2011 5.0 V8 mustang and the driver keeps talking a lot of smack and i need all he help i can get since im a V6 with just a bbk cold air intake

I believe the circumference of the stock wheels, 18,19, or 20 inch is the same because they use tires with a taller side wall on the smaller wheels-so 1 rotation of the wheel covers the same distance regardless of your wheel option.
Therefore, once you get the computer tuned to correct for 3.73 gears, you can use any stock wheel/tire combo or other aftermarket wheel/tire as long as you don't stray far from the stock circumference.

Although the 3.73's will help you get out of the hole faster, don't put alot of $ on that race. If you get a jump on a 5.0 2011 model, you would have a chance, but if he knows you're coming-well we're good for a V6, but I doubt you can take a 5.0.

If by all fails, Ill but some nitro into it
I was looking at at least 90hp more to the wheel
