Good news for all V6 LLT Camaro owners!

We have had conversations with the group at HP Tuners today. The good news for all of you is that they are hard at work on cracking the E77 processor family. There is no eta yet, but progress is being made and it is coming along. As I know more I will share it with the Camaro family.

Just curious, but will this void the powertrain warranty?

More than likely, yes. Depends on how "mod" friendly your dealership's service department is.

I talked to my uncle-in-law who is a service manager at a local chevy dealer and he said that as long as you remove the tune before you come into the shop there really isn't any way for them to track a tune....though he said if you get a tow into the shop and the tune is still there then yeah you have issues. He did say that there has to be proof that the tune was the cause of the problem. Rob even recommended that I should get a HP tune. Oh, and headers, can't really void your warranty if they look like the gmpp ones. Supposedly the SS headers are made by borla/corsa the orders were split

hell yea....gm has specific instructions printed for that case if you bring it in to have it worked on...detect a tune, then you revert it back to stock and void the entire warranty.

They can't void the entire warranty. Only the items that are PROVED to be directly effected by the modification. A custom tune will only void the engine and possibly the tranny if it is determined to be directly responsible for the failure.
