Wow. Nice. That's what I'm getting in my SS. Apparently the heat will turn a V8 into a V6.

These are the times I got with my V6:
On level ground with 3/8 tank of gas , The Starts were from idle, in SPOPT mode & W/traction control ON............Which gave a Great start: not too much wheel spin.
5 runs: 5.70, 5.72, 5.76, 5.85 & 6.01 secs. (Last run was w/2 persons)
Elevation: 350 ft..................Temp: 75 degs.
I used a MATRIX 3-axis accellerometer to get the results.

Best of 5.12 using a G-tech in the LS3. 88 degrees out around 1500 feet. I think I could do better, still had alot of wheel spin.

You don't have to spend $200. for a meter.

I got a K.A.T. Matrix 3-Axis Accellerometer, Battery run, No wires to hookup, I mount it to the radio display plastic W/the suction cups it comes with.or you could mount it on the windshield............
Was orig. $200. Got mine for under $30. W/ shipping. on Ebay. Other web sites also have them.

It works GREAT! .............

I'm working on an app for Windows Mobile that uses a bluetooth OBDII dongle to read the data from the car. Did around 5.5secs last night on semi-wet road only launching at 2k RPMs. Also incorporating reading from the accelerometer but that's less accurate naturally.

iPhone still works pretty good. I cut the vids on both ends of my 0-60 times and was within .07 of the times.

Not official, but fun. Easily good enough to know if you have a problem or not.

It's a MSD Dashhawk...

http://www.dashhawk.com/

I actually bought this way back in 2006 for my Mustang... threw it in a drawer when I sold my Mustang in 2007.... just for grins I plugged it into the Camaro and it worked!!!

It's a very cool tool... actually did a write up way back when: http://www.v6john.com/Main/Performan...k/dashhawk.htm
