For the OP, I added my GT9 before I added the blower, when I was full bolt-ons. I gained 50rwhp. FWIW. Padre |

Do you even lift, bro?

Spoke with Ryan @ LPE directly when I was researching. They said almost verbatim:
"The GT9 cam was specifically designed for the TVS 2300 blower and has hundreds of hours of testing put into it to get it just right."

Called lpe I was told that the gt9 cam is fine for centri and if they were building that's what they would use. They also said I should only expect to see 30-35 rwhp gain

You may have got some random tech. The guy I talked to said out of the LPE line to use the GT11. After doing my own research the GT11 isn't bad, but still not optimal for boost. The GT9 is optimal for boost...but it is specifically made for the roots blowers.
If you can't get 80+whp off a cam on a blower car...look elsewhere. I'm telling ya...with a centri, you are barking up the wrong tree. I did my research and thus netted 110whp off a cam swap. Trust me here.

I was was told it wasn't the best for centrifugal blowers. After looking around I thought I would look into testing on what a gm cam can make. I'm going to try to make 780-800 rwhp on corn.

Bo, I gained 90 rwhp with a smaller but very similar cam to yours 227/239-115 same lift. I think you will get more out of yours. I also lost a 1 lb of boost

Like I said I don't think I'll gain 80 lol, jk.
As long as I'm 650rwhp on the dynos local to me I'm good. Anything more than that is just icing on the cake. I'm expecting some loss in boost. I've ported enough cylinder heads for boosted cars to see that happen, its no biggie on that end.

Better cams out there. Get someone to cut you a custom grind for your car. Doesn't cost much more or get a proven centri cam.

The reason I went with the cam I bought was because one of the fastest G8s in the country had this cam and a procharger. It also sounded awesome lol.
