Question Shouldn't my Sunroof auto close

It has a click when opening that auto opens. Why won't it auto close when I click it?

It doesn't auto close, which I think is kind of annoying also. The worst thing for me is when I drive my wife's equinox it doesn't auto open, but it does auto close...

Yea, I thought that was weird when I had my V6 with the sunroof. My wife's H3 auto opens and auto closes. Winning.

It's a safety thing. You know, you should have one hand on the close button at all times.

Seriously?? We are lucky then, I would much rather have auto open then auto close only. Better off we need both!!

Most factory sunroofs don't do this. If you want nice options like rain sensing, memory positions, and auto closing, you have to go aftermarket.

My Cruze has both auto close and auto open, FTW. I get caught every I drive my Camaro trying to do the one touch close. Just one of those nit picky dumb little things that drive people nuts.

That would be one of those "wish list" improvements for GM to know. No auto close - probably a safety thing in case some dummy's head is sticking through when you want to close it.

Would be nice if you could get this feature added. I remember a few years ago seeing an add for an alarm system( don't remember who ) that had a device that detected moisture in the air for rain and would auto close your windows and sunroof if it detected rain. Have not seen anything since.
