Looks like they are getting more orders than they can handle. I am sad now.

Saw 2 today, obviously testing together. I might take a drive Saturday to roads that the tech center uses for their street test cycle - I might see a line of 10 out testing, very cool.
I'll definitely need to do it soon, won't have too much more agreeable weather.

Ordering has been open for a month now ... guessing more than Viper, less than Z06's. Next question, how many Z/28's have been delivered?

I would say IMO Z28 is a specialty vehicle and not in the same category and most would choose a all around Camaro like the ZL1.

I couldn't find numbers on the HellCats ordered, but (for all the 1/4 mile nonsense talk) I did find an article saying more manuals than autos are being ordered - at least the first ones.

Don't know the overall number but here is a peek.
"JOLIET, IL – Marketing a pair 700-hp, high-performance cars would appear to have its own set of challenges, but Fiat Chrysler officials say they’ve noticed none so far when it comes to the new Hellcat line of Dodge Challenger and Charger. “We took 4,000 (dealer) orders the first four days, many of them (for) celebrities or enthusiasts,”

Hemmings Muscle Machine just did a nice article on the first 1963 Z06. An amazing car for its time with mechanical fuel injection, IRS and many track focused goodies.
I bet Zora would be proud and amazed of where Chevy has taken the C7 Z06. Good job Chevy http://www.hemmings.com/mus/stories/..._feature2.html
