you can also get gloss colored vinyl overlays real cheap on ebay. I paid five bucks for my gloss black one for the rear bowtie. I used the bowtie delete from Drake for the front one.

Did mine and I love it! The gold bowtie just stands out too much, especially on my camaro.

Don't do it! It's called glossifier. It started to peel off of my flat black plasti dip wheels. When i tried to pull off the glossifier it ended up pulling off the flat black plasti dip. Had to redo all the black wheels.

I always worry about run. Have much issue with that, when it comes to painting? Is the key doing very light coats?

No issue at all. I did 4 very light coats with about 10 minutes between each.

Looks great man! I just did mine front and back as well Plasti-dip is surprisingly easy to use.

I used painters tape and newspaper, then ran a razor blade in the gap between the bowtie and the chrome boarder to make sure nothing stuck and peeled unintentionally.

Yours looks great!

Very nice... I didn't do the razor in the front and if you look at it close up you can see where it pulled a little. On the back I did the razor and it came out perfect. I'll end up redoing the front at some point.

Looks great OP...you did a great job! I thought about doing the same but went with a carbon fiber vinyl. I like the bowtie...just not the gold!
