Front Radius Rod Install Help

I switched out my front radius rod bushings to the BMR full ones and I can't get the passenger side arm back on. The drivers side went with some oomph from a jack and a pry bar, and that took a couple hours to get lined up. There is a welded line at the back of the bracket attached to the frame that the stock bushing doesn't touch, but the beefier bushing is getting hung up and not going back far enough. I've been whacking at it with a 2x4 and hammer, but it won't budge. Suggestions?

Had them, those bushings suck. Not well designed for the space they are supposed to fit into. Get Pfadt or Pedders. Meanwhile try lots of oil to help slide the crappy designed bushing in place. Been there done that, tossed them.

I used a screw jack and a small block of wood to guide it into place.

Crisis averted. As a last ditch I was going to disassemble the whole assembly to open up room for the arm to go in straight. As luck would have it the first thing I unbolted was the tie rod, the rotor spun out enough to get the arm lined up and bam. 5 hours of BS turned into a 5 minute project. On to the rear end tomorrow! Thanks for the replies guys.

It can take a little bit of work to get everything lined back up but generally it isn't too bad. I am glad you got everything figured out and back together without too much additional headache.
