DRL LEDs from IJDMtoy
I know you get what you pay for mostly, but I have a hard time with $70 light bulbs. I went ahead and bought the IJDtoy ones for $22 (pic below is priced higher). I had to trim the base plate of the bulb where it connects to the housing. It was a little to big to fit through the whole for the DLRs. I should have had to but again, you get what you pay for. Outside of that. I am pretty happy with them. Hopefully they last a while.
Here is where I trimmed them Pic installed |

No, I need to get that so I can run the DRL and Halos together. I actually call my car Stinger. I know in Transformers 4, he was a sports car. But he was an orange Camaro at one time to be a bumblebee look alike as a decepticon.

The aftermarkets are a tight fit, but they will go into the hole without modification.

I have seen here on the forums where members had to file down the tip in order to get them to stay into the sockets.
I don't like the idea of doing that,so where is the best place to purchase them that will be of the same fit as the OEM bulbs.

These float between $10 and $20/pr, I've installed a dozen sets and had good luck with them. |

Thanks Bud Appreciate it.
Those look great if not a perfect match,so you say they fit with no issues and stay in the sockets. What about the DRL Harness ,do you have it on this car.Not very good reviews on Amazon.com Quote:

The clear lenses are OEM/Stock. The reason they are white is that our club (HTCC) replaced the yellow bulb with switchback lights. They are white with the key in the ignition and in the on position, just like the DRL's. When I use my turn signal, the white goes out and the amber blinks (Null-amber-null). There is no KIT for Camaro's with the RS package like mine, however our Houston Club has a contract with a vendor that provides the necessary supplies at a substantial discount and we have knowledgeable car audio professionals that know how to do the work. There is a DIY floating around C5 about it, but it is not complete.

FWIW, I put the iJDMTOY P13W bulbs in my 2010 2SS/RS about 3 weeks ago now. Didn't have to modify anything, they popped right in. No problems whatsoever and look great. Added the DRL harness at the same time.

You didn't have any issues with the sockets not fitting, have their been some changes ,some members had to file the tabs to get them to stay in.By the way which bulbs did you get i saw on here where the plasma looks more blueish than the OEM Halos .

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o04_s00 The exact description from Amazon "iJDMTOY (2) Super Bright Xenon White 15-SMD P13W High Power LED Replacement Bulbs For 2010-2013 Chevy Camaro, 2013-up Mazda CX-5, 2008-2012 Audi A4/S4/Q5 Daytime Running Lights, etc" Maybe I just got lucky and the tolerances on my housings were a little out of spec the day they were made? My car is a very early 2010, I've seen some 12/2009 dates on parts here and there on the car and the delivery date was February of 2010. Or maybe I just got lucky with a set of bulbs that fit perfectly. Either way, the bulbs haven't moved and lets just say that my driving can be described as a bit spirited |
