Tire Shine

What do you use to give your tires shine that does not come off onto the car when driving?

I use Zaino perfect tire gloss . it makes the tire look brand new.It doesn't give it that "70's disco italian" look, just a deep black. I'm not really into that glossy look. A good technique would be to apply it , let it sit for a while, then wipe off the excess.

The trick to most tire shine products is to apply them to a cloth and wipe them onto/into the tires. You don't get overspray on your wheels and you can control how much is actually on the tire.

Yep...same here. Doesn't make them shiny like ArmorAll but it does make them nice and clean looking, deep black finish and lasts!

This year im giving the turtle wax ice line a shot for a change and you know what the tire dressing isnt bad at all. Comes with its own applicator brush and doesnt leave that cheesy greasy look and smells great to boot. Just remember to clean the brush off after your done. For over the counter its not bad at all no zaino but pretty good. Only neg i would says its not cheap by any means for otc product like most ice products you pay premium money.

Meguiars Gold Class High Endurance. The purple stuff. Its simply amazing. You can put on as much as you want to make it look good or so much that you can see yourself. Plus it lasts for a good while. Just make sure you put it on and let it set a night or wipe it good because you might get a little sling if you dont.

I use Armor All Extreme tire shine gel with foam applicator. Just apply to applicator and rub all over side wall. It's thicker and you don't need an exessive ammount, so you don't have to worry about a mess on your paint after a drive. Plus it lasts pretty good even after another quick wash!

Sounds like it might take a while.

I just use armor-all. quick and simple. wipe it in, no sling, and looks great.

I think the key is just waiting a little while to drive after you've put it on. I use like Meguires Hot Shine and put it on with a foam applicator. I like to have them real shiny and use a lot so I let the car sit for a couple hours after I put it on so it doesn't sling up on there.
