I like the interior a lot. the exterior is jsut meh to me. I will need to see one in person.

To the comments about it looking like a Camaro. I see some styling cues and themes that are present in all chevy vehicles. Not a corporate face like ford has but chevy has a design language it seems they want in all cars IMO

If those are the only similarities you can see you need to look again. The fenders and doors are so similar in shape they look like they'd almost interchange.

It's just easier to focus on the few similarities than list all the differences. Here's a short list from just a quick glance at those two pictures:

Front Facia
Front Grills
Slope of windshield
Headlights
Fog/DRL lights
Door crease
Wheels
Slope of roof
Porthole window
Slope of rear window/trunk

I could go on, but you get the point.

Looks good i sense a bit of the Code 140 in the frontal design and the interior looks great. I can see why some people think it looks like other compacts but its only in the shape not the actual looks of the car and i think most compacts have that shape cause of the newer safety crash test standards and the pedestrian standards.

Well of course there aren't going to be ANY parts that are "exactly" the same from 2 different manufacturers... The point is the styling is VERY much copied from Kia (or "heavily influenced by" if you prefer), including most of the items on your list.

No. You really don't. And you also don't know what you're talking about.

Look at the state of the compact/midsize sedan market. Everyone wants premium features for a bargain price. The formula to a successful product is to make it look more expensive than it really is. Spark, Sonic, Cruze, Malibu, Equinox, all receive praise from consumers for looking expensive and offering premium features but still retaining Chevrolet pricing.

Y'all are still stuck in the old days where having to buy a compact meant a barebones interior with no brightwork on the exterior and a lame design that screams "I can't afford what I really want so I'm stuck driving this thing." That isn't the case anymore.

And for everyone wondering where the design is pulled from:

Except on price. And warranty. And reliability. And looks.

But... The Cruze has a good phone charger, and more "connectivity" to keep the driver from paying attention to the road, so Chevy is taking the lead there.

The new Cruze stole its design from the Camaro, Malibu, Chrysler 200, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Forte, Lexus (in general), Hyundai (in general), and the Toyota Corolla. Did I miss any?

You all realize that collectively, the design of those cars share nothing, besides the fact that they're cars ... right?
