Let's discuss the potential Z/28 appearance.
Here's are a few items that I would like to see on the Z/28. Since we've discussed the engine options a lot already, I'm not going to address them directly here. I'm trying to be realistic and list items that I think are reasonable and cost effective.
Wider tires and rims. I think this is a MUST. I would prefer the rims to be as light as possible. Upgraded suspension. Slightly taller cowl hood. Nothing obnoxious, just enough for someone that knows what to look for to notice. Maybe a different rear spoiler. Different grill. The main thing I want from this car is functionality. I'm a firm believer in, form follows function. Build something that works well and the design around it. Above all I want this car to be the real deal not just a piece of bling that looks better than it performs. Kind of like the ZR1 is the total package for sports cars, I want the Z/28 to be the total package for muscle cars. 20 years from now I want this car to be as prestigious as the Yenkos, COPOs and the ZL1s of the late 60's. Anyone think they will come in unique colors?
Regarding the hood scoop, I'll wait and see the final product before giving my opinion. |

Have you seen Transformers 2? Expect it to look VERY similar to that, would be my guess. If GM and the rest of the world wouldn't have gone tits-up during TF2 production, chances are good that the new bumblebee was going to be the free advertisement for the Z/28 model that has been put on hold until recently.
Once again, just my opinion. Nabbed from Motortrend: TF2 Bumlebee: From GM publications: definately some very similar styling themes throughout, I would be pretty shocked if it deviates a lot from these images |

i'd personally love a ram-air hood with a mail slot delete and smaller, lighter wheels that just clear the calipers - 19s perhaps over CTS-V brakes and a slightly lower stance - maybe .5" to 1" drop from SS height

Personally, I can't wait to see it when it hits the streets....it's going to be heaven to see Z28's fresh off the assembly line again. As far as I'm concerned, as long as it's a Camaro, it's already PERFECT!!!!!
