I'm a Chevy guy also so I'm sure that didn't hurt but if I had been impressed with the Shelby I would have bought it! The rear axle is the main reason I did not buy one and I didn't do the research on the new ones coming out to see if they changed it either since I've already ordered a 2SS.

My .02!
The 2011 refit where this new engine (5.0 again perhaps) using this body with some even more aggressive stylings on the hood as they always seem to do every few years will be one heck of a machine. I do agree they need to get IRS onboard by that time..

Honestly...I think it's a cool looking car. But IMO those fog lights in the middle of the grill look horrible. That's my only gripe thus far, since I've never driven one. I saw a murdered out Mustang one day and it looked mean.

I think Ford dropped the ball on the new mustang, when they didn't update the rear suspension with and independent rear. the Dodge Challenger and the Camaro both have independent rears, for better ride and handling.

They do need to include IRS as an option in the very least.

That's not necessarily true. Scott and a few others HAVE driven the car. Yes they work for GM but I have to believe they aren't going to lie about the superiority of the Camaro. Because if you think about it, if they lie just to sell the car and we buy it and find what they said is untrue, don't you think that would hurt their reputations and sales of the car in the future? Plus most of us have seen the videos of this car in action on the road course and it handles those corners very well at speed. I personally think, and I could be wrong, But it seems to me that GM spent a little more time researching and developing the Camaro, then Ford did with this Mustang.

I have to admit their is one thing that makes me jealous of the new stang. Factory optioned superchargers 400 and 500hp. Warranty and everything. Dodge has done the samething with the challenger. I think dodge is a dealer installed supercharger, I think. With over 600hp. Come on GM, share the love with that SWEET...SWEET...BEAUTIFUL LS9.

Thank you

Well I'm glad to see you guys agree with me the Camaro fans anyways. I'll admit, I didnt do much research on the car. I mean just by looks on the outside it doesnt seem to be much different then the 07 and 08 models put out. They stoped production of the Camaro for quite sometime, and honestly they are bringing back a legend I mean for real they took their time and did the Camaro justice. To all my Camaro fans out there thank you for having my back and next time I'll be sure to do my homework. I'm glad you guys like the thread and please keep the replys coming.

The Camaro is just an all around better looking car, much more attractive and sleek. I mean it looks so beefy and like its pissed off and ready for action. I mean we have a pretty sexy interior as well i mean its down right sexy shit. Here are some pix to prove my point how much better looking it is. I guess we win.

Something I can't get over about the new Mustang, If you were to remove the inboard lights how much the front end looks like the Camaro with the GMPP grill...

Maybe, if you flipped it 180 degrees. You're reaching, dude.

I'll be one of the first to say I prefer the new Camaro to the new Mustang when it comes to bodystyle.
