I don't know, my opinion would honestly be to go with the Camaro SS for now and get yourself a used G37 in a few years for much cheaper. The G37 is a nice car and I do like Infiniti (I own an '07 350z), but for the amount you'll be paying for a brand new one I think you'll be more excited with the pure power of the Camaro.

For that amount of money I would suggest you look at the 335i or 335xi coupe also just to add another option.

Camaro and 335i/xi are easier are making them go fast...

My wife drives the g35.
Two things. First of all, that's the g35. Second of all, is it the coupe or sedan? And does it have the sport package? All critical points.

Haha, no.
It would blow the v6 camaro's doors off. Atleast the g37 has the edge on the ss in handling. The v6 camaro traps 5-6mph slower than the g37, and it doesn't handle as well. The g37 is definitely more competitive with the ss than the v6.

I'll agree, the V6 Camaro may very well lose to a g37, but a G37 compared to an SS is just overkill. The SS will swallow that car whole and $hit out the pieces. lol. Call me over confident but I wouldn't even say the G37 is even in the same competitive class with the SS,...the SS is in a league of it's own; try bringing on a GT500 or better. Handling really is debatable. I swear, the SS should have a message on the hood that reads "cheetah inside", because that car damn sure handles like one. The g37 just doesn't have enough "get up" for me. I just love traveling at a good fast speed and then cornering with confidence knowing the Camaro is going to buckle down and grip that wild savanna and peel off with no slack or leverage.

Both are great cars, but you must remember, one was built for luxury and the other, pure performance all while showing off an aggresive distinctive look.

Handling isn't debatable lol. You mean the way it FEELS when it's cornering is an opinion. The G37 may take a corner better than a Camaro, but it will fail in road course's due to the acceleration advantage held by the SS.

We have a winner, the Camaro SS. Look at the difference in price, power, styling, and economy(which is almost the same).

Clutch lets take it easy. The camaro ss is a much better peformance car then the g37 by all means other then handling, but lets not carried away. Its handling is nothing to write home about and it only is 3 or 4 tenths quicker in the quarter, depending which magazine you want to read. The camaro ss is the LEADER of ITS class, but it is no where near being in a class of its own. You're not gonna be competing with any gt500 stock, that's for sure.

You know. I think if you have to ask yourself which one to buy? Then maybe the answer should be neither and wait until you find a car that when you see it...you have to HAVE it!!

When I bought my Infiniti, it was the best out there I thought but was not truly Wowed by it. I bought it, drove it for a month and now its driven by my wife.

If you're truly not passionate enough about either car to make a decision, get something more practical like a truck or a small SUV and wait and save until YOUR car comes out.

If you like the G37, how about a GT-R. That car will shut us camaro geeks up!

Never buy something because you want to buy something. Buy something that you REALLY want. The decision will be clear.

Crazy, but comparing those two interior photos, I actually like the Camaro's better.

Which is odd, because I would think and Infiniti could at least edge out that aspect of the comparison.

Camaro FTW.
