If your serious, then wait for the ZL1............. I now think will start at 50K and with all options etc 59-62K

Bike is restrictive to weather, the ZL1 basically all year .....

Becky Doyle at Rodgers Chevrolet will take a deposit for YOUR ZL1 today!

Too many tourists paying more attention to the exit/street they just passed and looking at maps and just not paying attention. I took my bike down to Daytona a few times and couldn't believe how bad the tourists were about paying attention to bikes even though they are everywhere.

I sold my bike for the SS, smartest thing I ever done

Good luck on your decision either way, and BE SAFE

Idk, I just know I cant go back to motocross cause I dont have time for it with work, and that dare devil freestyle motocross side of me.. and 'no pain no gain' side of me has stayed with my teenage self.... so I really do want a bike... I just dont know :(

would you guys agree its safer to use a motorcycle on a highway rather than street driving? atleast on a highway you are all going in the same direction and dont have to worry about someone going perpendicular to you cutting you off?

That's probably true. On a bike you have a lot of nimbleness and agility, and when you're experienced it's relatively easy to spot and avoid and escape from drivers and situations that could potentially cause an accident. It's the things you don't see (some douchebag running a red, for example) that end up putting you in the hospital or on a slab.

Possibly. But on the highway, everyone is going faster. And lane changers never see bikes. If you go down, it's going to be a lot of painful sliding, with someone potentially driving over you.

I've ridden bikes for years. But when my daughter came along, I sold them. Too dangerous in the high traffic area I live in. That and I just didn't have much time for joy rides anymore.
