I have an '03 Dodge Intrepid that I refuse to get rid of. It needs every single hose it in replaced because they have all dry rotted. It also needs a new timing chain and water pump. In all to fix it will cost around $2000.00. Even though I am on the only owner and it has 85,000 miles on it, it only books for around $2000.00. It is a shame that a car that I have loved and taken care of will cost just as much to make reliable again as it is worth. I refuse to trade it in and am driving my 13 year old's '06 Mustang GT as a DD until my husband finishes the work on my Intrepid. I will probably cry the day we have to give it to the junkyard....

Never cried over a car, but I did flip off one of my parents' trade-ins on the way out of the dealership once. Sometimes you're happy to see a car go.
