Low octane gas basically freaked out your car? But wasn't your car running 7.0+ sec 0-60mph? But they tested it doing 5.7 sec?

And guys have been saying there's no advantage to running the recommended 93 octane.

I personally always use 93 octane.

But I'm real glad you got your car running better. Keep putting 93 octane in it and drive it like you stole it.

Do you know if they use a different tune/torque management for the 21" wheels? Between that a bad batch of gas and a nanny of a computer it is not re-learning as it should? Then of course I recall the strange air fuel readings from your dyno. I honestly haven’t done any tuning on anything newer than a tuned port infection and those are pretty straight forward. So I am just guessing. Just tossing out ideas that maybe others have not considered.

As it turns out, I've been doing it like the GM guys told Scott to do it.

Your guess is good as mine. I don't think there is a different 'tune set' for the wheels.

I doubt seriously there is a difference in tune for the larger wheels. My bet is all L99's have the same tune.
If there was a different tune then I could just order one with 21" wheels and when they come in say I don't like them and remove them from the order. Then I would have a better tune for my stock 20's. I just don't see that happening. My opinion.

Different tune? doubtful, but the top speed limiter is set to whatever the speed rating is on the tires that come on the car.

I know how you've been doing it. but I dont know that you have learned the "feeling" of launching it properly. you gotta "feel" it. you'll know it when you "feel" it. it will "feel" just right.

Scott, how did your car get from 7-7.47 seconds to 5.7 seconds 0 to 60? Something does not sound right??

How did it get from losing to a 6 cylinder LT to normal?

It sounds like a very dramatic change and not possible by what you decribed was done??

What did they do exactly to the car that you know of??
