F1X Camaro getting some upgrades

Currently the car has a built 429ci Stock block LS3 (4.125 stroke x 4.070 bore) but it was at the limits of everything powerwise (around 1100rwhp) set up ran great for 2 years under lots of abuse from track and street racing. I recently sold the shortblock and it will be going to live out the rest of its days in another car.

car ran really consistent low 9s. but like every power level. that starts to feel slow. So yesterday I order a LSX block, wiseco pistons, oliver rods and a magnum crank. I will finally be able to use the F1X blower to its potential, instead of only being able to run 22psi of boost.

new motor will be a 427ci. and i will be reusing the PRC260 heads that were on the last motor.

cant wait to get it running again and make some passes.

Doing an ERL 427 with PRC 255's and an F1A / E85 right now once I redo from the tranny back I am hoping to squeeze the F1X in for a head unit upgrade. Let me know how much massaging you need to the strut tower to get that bad boy to fit.

He already has the f1x in there. I remember seeing pictures, search his profile

We cut a hole about the size of a softball in it, to make the f1x fit

We have a local f1-x vette that makes 1600rwhp with a LME 427. I want to put the f1-a/94 in mine.
