That warm and fuzzy fealing!

I've recently read some threads about waving to eachother while passing eachother on the road. Generally my rule of thumb has always been to wave to fellow Camaro (new and old) owners. Living in a smaller town I almost always get a wave back from them. I never considered any of the other types of muscle before.

So today I started out driving like any other day, keeping my eye out for my fellow Camaro owners when all of a sudden a new Challenger SRT came passing by waving with a hand out the window. So respectfully I waved back.....thinking wow thats never happened before but pretty cool, a mutual respect! So down the road I go and oddly enough I see a Mustang GT coming my way.....thinking of the Challenger I decided to wave and sure enough the Mustang owner was kind enough to wave back. Kind of a corney story but it just left me with a warm fuzzy feeling of the mutual respect of the three muscle power houses. A good way to start the weekend!

Great story! I think there should be more of that in the world. It's cool to root for your team, but we're ultimately all in the same game.

I learned that from riding my motorcycle. Living in SD motorcycles are huge and your arm almost gets tired from all the waving. Nice to see its done in some cars as well. We all just need to love eachother more I guess.

Lol I'm a new camaro owner, and oddly I felt an inner urge to wave at a fellow camaro owner the other day. I feel like the waving between makes (mustang, challenger etc)is a respect for fellow American muscle car owners. It's a cool feeling though, great story.

LOL!

I thought the general "rule" if you call it was to extend your arm down when another motorcycle is passing. I am assuming this because all the motorcycles I see always do it.

I find that to be a humorous "pirate" activity. I intentionally always wake just off the bars, never low. As life long rider that rides all year, I tend to make my own rules.

I do the same and get the same response......except for last night. I was out with the top down....saw a silver SS and gave him a wave....he looked at me with a look like I flipped him off....was it because I have an RS and not an SS, or was it because he was a rude ass punk? Either way I say kill em' with kindness and keep the wave going

Since I got my Camaro, I have had the urge to smile and wave at other Camaros, including pre-gen 5. They all look at me like I just flipped them off. So do Mustang owners. However, Challenger owners seem to smile and wave at me.
