This post was originally in the San Antonio-Biff's thread, but we all decided it needed a separate thread, so following is the original post........We are going there tonight after work for a drink and I plan to talk to Joe to set something up for this Saturday night.

"Hey guys! The hubby and I were at Houlihan's last night at 35South and 1604 (across from the Forum) having drinks and we were talking about the arrival of Rebel (she should be here this next week!!) and the manager overheard us and came over to talk. Turns out he is a HUGE Gen5 fan and asked if the SA Camaro owners would be interested in using the parking lot at Houlihans as one of our Friday night hangouts. He would love to host us and the more the merrier he said. He would even offer free appetizers to the Gen5 owners. :-)

They have a huge parking lot with lots of lighting and a row of parking right outside their outdoor patio where we could all park and be within feet of our cars. If we told him when we are coming he would reserve all those spaces for us. We can't bring alcohol into the restaurant but we can sit out there and drink our own if we want. And we can take drinks OUT of Houlihans to the parking lot. They are open until 2am and their insurance covers the whole parking lot so the cops wouldn't make us leave (not that they do at Biff's)

He's really excited to get us there and thinks it would generate a lot of business for him.

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that we have another potential hangout. We were talking about maybe our first meeting to be on Saturday, October 31st (Halloween) or earlier.

If you guys are interested in setting something up let me know and I will call Joe the manager and get it all arranged."

+1.......where exactly is it though?......is this that hooligans by the theatre? or is there another houlihans in the forum?.....ill be there if i find out where its at and what time

It is on the Southbound side of IH35 on the frontage road. There is a Chuck E Cheese and a Circuit City used to be there.

I talked with Mark Miller tonight, the Manager, and he is going to reserve spaces for us to all park together along the EAST side of the restaurant, along the outdoor patio. He will have employees park there and as we arrive, they will move their cars so we can have the spaces.

They are really looking forward to it. Let's show them how classy the Camaro people can be. :-)

We can be there around 8 or so.....son has Homecoming that night.... what time do you guys want to meet?

I will try gotta talk the wife into it. Had a hard enough time talking her into letting me go this past Friday. She's not real receptive to it being every weekend. But I'm working on her. If I do get out there it will probably be the last time this month.
