Lucked out!
Went into the Dealership (Rothrock) to order a Camaro. The one I wanted was on the floor. I drove home with it.
 2SS. Paid a little over invoice, but I'm happy. It was supposed to be sold but the guy didn't come in with the deposit. While I was signing the papers he came in, Started cursing at the sales manager. |

Although I feel bad for the guy who did not put the deposit down, I have to say there is no way in the world I would have felt comfortable ordering a Camaro 6 months ago having not given the dealer one cent all the while expecting that the dealer is just going to give me the car when it is delivered out of the goodness of their heart!

How much is "a little over invoice"? Are you saying the dealer let you have the guy's car for less than the price on the sticker?
