Introducing "Mr Bond"......

-- I've had a hard time coming up with a name for this one.....

If you read my note about 'Brother Ezekial / BroZeke' - you'll recall that I talked about how 'liveable' the ZL1 can be -- it's without question the best riding Camaro we've ever built...and yet the best handling Camaro we've ever built as well....

--but when you 'punch it' - you see the 'other side' of this amazing automobile (...if I must say so myself....) ... "Dr Jekel/Mr Hyde"........

As I've driven him over the past couple of days - I kept mulling over what I'd call a strong guy with class -

(...Scott!!....)

(OK -you can stop the snickering and get back up off the floor now......

Many ideas -- but I got to thinking of James Bond - - athletic - smooth - very well bred -- looks good in a tuxedo, but don't tick him off.................because he'll kick you to Kingdom come, so to speak.....

And so - unless someone else comes up with a better name...

(and if you do, there may be a package in the mail to you...) ----

I present "Mr. Bond" --

...and pictures of his rear-view mirror and radio........

I apologize for the 'foggy' pictures -- taken with my Blackberry - and we must put a "GM Seal" over the lens when we enter any place where there may be proprietary property......such as Design Studio or the proving grounds....

....and a pic of him hanging out with one of his brothers - a CTF "1LE" -

...and a clear picture of the mirror in Al's CTF......

For those of you waiting for a Convertible ZL1 - I think you're going to be very happy...........

thanks for your patience - and thanks, once again, for reading one more of my ramblings...........

looks very cool. 2012 introduces the baddest F-Bod and now you have the best and nastiest convertable pony car ever made.

Put it through its paces so you guys can get all the bugs out and make it even better

If that's a manual with ECF , that's exactly what I have on order.

If my car comes in with a couple of thousand miles, I'll know who did it.

One other thought:

My oldest nephew - when he saw "BroZeke" for the first time said to me:

"Uncle Scott -- that is the ultimate in 'bada##ery!'..."-- and with the black wheels - I believe he's right.

Judging by the numbers of Black ZL1s just on this board alone - I think a lot of people would agree........

"Mr. Bond" - on the other hand -with his 'polished' wheels' (...and 'polished persona'..) has a classy look that perhaps 'hides' the mean streak......until you let that side loose...........

....I gotta tell you - the sound of the Exhaust with the top down? Who needs a radio????? Simply intoxicating.....

right now, he's got a 2012 black hood - soon to be replaced with ECF.

(remember - he was built early - therefore, no gray insert...)

Mr. Bond is a great name. Mobil 1, shaken-not stirred.

I know you are in heaven having a powerful Camaro that is topless.

Here are a few.... Diablo (works better with red), lionheart, dragons breath, flash, The Black Dahlia, Black Lighting, Black Bullet, Night Shark.... Ok! That's all I can come up with for now but it looks like Mr. Bond will be hard to beat.

Mr Bond is a great name! I can't even imagine how great the exhaust sounds when the top is down! I still haven't heard the exhaust on my ZL1 from outside the car (no one else has driven it besides me), but I always get the best compliments on the sound!

Would love to see more pics of that CFT 1LE!

Oh dear. That's how the touch screen looks? I'm hoping it looks more like it belongs from a bigger/more complete view of the interior.
