Tonneau attatchment....

At a Loss..... Can't find where the bands hook up to on the rear back seat panel. I found a rear facing barb on the folding mechanism that kind of line up on each side to hook it too, but nothing on the back seat rear panel.

Most times they didn't get installed at the dealership. They're probably in a bag waiting to be installed!
Found mine rolling around in the trunk!

The two posts (B) for the 2012 are installed by the dealer.
Or in your case, not.
They should be in an envelope, either in the trunk or the glove box.

You're in Moore. Did they blow away? (too soon?)

Thanks for the quick response guys!!
Found these in the glove box. Assuming this is it? If so do I have to remove something to install it? Top up? Top down? To install....

Michael,
Yes, I'm in Moore, an no, not too soon. A sense of humor is needed! I faired ok. House/yard covered in what I can best describe as Tornado Snot. A 1/4 mile away, not so much. Veteran's Memorial park neighborhoods leveled.

Top down. I popped the trim pieces on the sides above the back seat windows. You need to reach behind to attach the nut to the bolt. It's tight! Don't forget to use the spacers. Some use a larger washer to make sure the band doesn't slip over the bolt head.

Is anyone familiar with the 'barb' I found by feel on each side in the general area of the tonneau cover cords?

Those are the bad boys. Installing them is easiest with the top down.

Glad you are safe Chad.

Thanks Michael! Do I have to remove one of the plastic panel fasteners to allow installment of the tonneau cord holders? I cant find an open place to install.

The dealer should have installed the attachment posts before delivery. I would take it back and have them put them on.

Angrybird,

I bought the car at a dealer 175 miles away and I'm concerned a 'local' dealer won't give me the same priority as someone who bought from them. I know it works that way with boats....
