Standard stereo - not BA
Does anyone have the standard stereo - not with the upgrade to the Boston Acoustics system? If so, is it any good?

I have the standard and it's fine for me (I'm not an audiophile).

Thanks for the response. I have the Bose cd system in my '96, wonder how the 5th gen standard compares to it....

Standard sounds really good. I received a compliment or two on it.....I've built stereos for years, it just needs a sub in my opinion.

I have the standard stereo and added a sub....perfectly content with it the way it is. I haven't heard the BA, but like deft said all it needed was a sub.

what did you use to add that sub? a line out converter? I didnt see or hear anything about the stock stereo having any aux/RCA outputs so I was just wondering if you did it yourself and could tell me.
