Tilt/telescoping steering wheel lever.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I was driving my SS on Saturday and the lever that you use to adjust the steering wheel just fell out and hit my knee. I can't even remember the last time I even touched the lever, I know it's probably been 3 or more years. Has anyone else had this happen to them? The wheel is staying right where it was adjusted to so the good thing is it's not moving all over the place.

Has anyone else had this happen? I haven't even looked to see what it takes to fix it, any instructions on how to fix it?

Russ

I use mine every time I get in and out of the car. Seems yours just vibrated loose after three years.

I guess this must be an isolated problem which is good. I will have to take a look and see how to fix it.

It was brought on by the excessive weight of the knee hitting switchblade style key......or not!

I'm the only one that has ever cleaned the car. I haven't touched that lever in well over three years. It literally fell out and hit my left knee. It is completely separated from whatever it used to attach to. I have not had a chance to see how I can fix it.
