lil help please with cai inc.
Does anyone elses filter look like the below pictures? Everything seems to fit however the filter is not flush with the box. Just wondering if I did something wrong?!

you should be good, don't think its a problem you can try to adjust it more but, i would not worry about it,

Thank you so much guys!! I was so worried I screwed something up... btw, if you care, I got the air scoop and weighed the washer bottle and it was 10.2 pounds!! Just adding this intake and scoop reduced my weight by 15.7 pounds... course I can no longer wash my windshield but give n take right?

If you want it to sit level in the box, simply loosen the clamp, adjust for level and re-tighten clamp.

I had the same experience. After playing around with it for half an hour, I decided the best way to go was to make sure the filter was aligned with the intake tube. This results in a slightly crooked fit because of the difference in angle between the tube and box itself.
If you adjust for a flush fit with the box, the filter itself is slightly crooked in its alignment with the intake tube. |
