Spotless Water

Does anyone know who makes the kit and who's the best I've never seen one but my friend told me you could get them. Thanks.

Oh my, that's pricy. How about just drying the car off quickly before the rinse water dries. Can buy a lot of microfiber towels at that cost!

You could probably make your own with a little ingenuity and some water filters from home depot. i have a mr. clean autodry from wallmart it has a small replaceable filter in it and it works good but you must change filters every once and a while because its a small filter

If youre into auto detailing and you wash your car on average 2-3 times a week (black car) like I do then $300 is a price youd be willing to pay for what that does. I think I might pick one up...

The car wash I go to has a "Spot-Free Rinse" that I use. I think it is de-ionized water, but I'm not sure. It does work though. And with a black car I notice the difference--especially when it's hot. In cooler weather I don't dry my car off with towels at the car wash, I drive the 3/4 mile home (as fast as I can, legally) and blow dry the car, so there's not nearly so much water left on it when I get home. With the Spot-Free Rinse it almost never spots.

+1, installed a hose bib on the soft water line in the garage. Just hook a hose up to the outside. Really helps. I still dry the car but the urgency and water spots are greatly reduced. Pooling and detail spray helps if no soft water around.

I wash the car and dry it with a Mothers Drying Towel (http://www.mothers.com/02_products/90005.html). I let it dry for a while in the garage and then use Zaino Z-6 and a microfiber cloth to detail it. The paint is flawless ie no spider webbing.

Of course, it usually rains on the car the next day or two at work and then it is covered with spots!
