Not on the stock 19's, the brembo's do fit on some aftermarket 19" wheels.

Looks great!!! But how does this setup on a V6 affect the braking geometry of the car? Does it mess with stability control? Seems to me like all of the sudden you have more stopping power going on in the front. More so then the stability computers are used to.

I swapped my brakes out for Brembos from another board member for an even trade a few months ago. He needed smaller brakes for smaller rims. Hellofa deal for me. One thing we had to do though was cut the dust shield on the rear brakes. They were too short and would have made contact with the rear rotors.

To take this further..God forbid.. but I wonder what would happen if your insurance company found out you have modified your braking system after an accident. They might claim it caused you to lose control because the stabilty control has been affected.

I really want to do this mod but I am afraid of what might happen down the road.

They can make that argument with any change, even different tires. You are somewhat protected if you replace parts with similar or better function. They may challenge it in and you end up in court, but as long as they can't prove faulty workmanship or an incompatibility you would probably win in the end. Not sure how they can argue these brakes are inferior to the originals or incompatible with the Camaro.

what wheels do you have? is it more of an issue to clear the spokes or to wide for the inside?

I agree with you. But..

If the entire master cylinder/stability/abs system is the same as the SS then it shouldnt be a problem. Otherwise brembo brakes are incompatable because the gm brand brakes are designed for our v6's. I don't know enough about the systems to make that argument. But I wonder.
