I was able to get my 2SS/RS for 10% off window sticker and the int yellow thrown in (800.00) . It was a sale the dealer was having on cars on their lot but it told me that from now on my target price will be 10% off.

BeckyD at Rodgers may be able to beat that price even with shipping. I'd check with her. I got 1150 off msrp for a 2SS sold order, and when it came in the invoice was 550 less than when I ordered. My dealer threw that my way as well. So I got 1700 off msrp for a sold order. I could have probably gotten another 1000 off if I had bought dealer stock, maybe more. You need to check around. Shame about dealer fees...none of that here...although the 'pay310' crap is almost as bad, in my opinion. Any dealer ever told me I had to pay a fee to buy his car, and I'd tell him I'll buy out of state...period. Just my 2 cents.

For way less than that dealer fee, you can buy a plane ticket one way to Classic Chevy in Grapevine, TX, buy one from Eric Hall, drive it back to Florida and save money to boot. Just sayin'.

Guys, most dealers have some sort of documentation fee that is set by the people upstairs because car guys like us negotiate aggressively. It allows the place to stay in business after we negotiate away all of the profit margin. Asking for over $1,000 off a car with only $700 between invoice an retail is pretty aggressive. Ask for the moon, but don't expect to get there. It's the most realistic way to negotiate, and you won't leave every dealership in the universe thinking that you're getting screwed.

They all are idiots, but they aren't all out to screw you.

Well, calling off the search for now.

I was looking for the 1SS for my dad, but he went for a 5.0. Got if for a steal in my opinion. GT Premium/Manual/3.73/HID/Security/Rearview Camera - 31K OTD.

So just my V6 in the family for now.
