I'll tell you what would be the bomb---a 1LE with-- upgraded suspension and tweaked intake (Chevy CAI) and exhaust with a factory hot tune to yield + 20 hp and tq...that would run right with the Mustang 350R for significantly less!! Chevy for the win!!!

The 11th could be the coupe ZL1 and 1LE, or maybe another Corvette model.
Did Gen 5 have two piece rotors? It sure does look like that inner ring has some bolts on that assembly so yeah...and it should have two piece on such a beast.

I'm not sure. I think it does but I never paid much attention to it.

I bet the ZL1 or Z28 will have the dark tail lights. Why else would they be holding them back?

The current 6th Gen 6 piston upgrade is also two piece rotors, floating to boot.

Cool.

Been saying this exact thing for a while now. As far as I'm concerned, except for a lack of top end power, and smaller brakes, the SS gives the base GT350 a good run for its money in the performance arena. It wouldn't take much to match or surpass it.

A 1LE model consisting of track oriented tires/rims, suspension, brakes would likely get the job done. Making the optional intake standard on the 1LE to raise the peak HP would be a nice move.

Thousands less than a GT350, with performance to match or surpass it.

The current 6 pistons are floating 2 piece rotors? Are you positive about the floating part? That's usually racing applications only, and would make a lot of noise on a street car.

If you look at the picture they display, they most certainly look floating to me, i see bobbins = floating, idk, you are right, can't be full float for street, too loud, maybe semi-floating or no float.

I like the curved rockers like on the Z06. Love these subtle body lines!

And assuming the darker camo is a mesh for air intake/etc, the hood should have a nice sized scoop!

I'm almost certain this will look like the 2nd picture below. The S/C car will have more cooling needs than the N/A 1LE pictured first.
